Welcome to Hayner Distilling at 619 Lincoln Ave in Troy. We are a smaller distillery, but we have an exciting story to share and many great spirits to sample. You can even fill your own bottle directly from the barrel and apply your own label. Hayner began in 1866 in Troy, Ohio. By 1920 Hayner was one of the largest distilleries in Ohio and the largest mail order whiskey business i the country. But, like all distilleries, Hayner Distilling closed in 1920 with prohibition. 100 years later, Hayner Distilling has been reborn! From a few surviving bottles we analyzed the original whiskey and working with Bardstown Bourbon Company created a blend complementary to the original Hayner.
