Minglewood Distilling Co is located in a historic Ice Plant in downtown Wooster. Enjoy crafted cocktails, guided tasting flights, and distillery tours. The building originally housed our namesake, the Minglewood Coal & Ice Co; which operated from the 1890's until the 1950's and delivered coal and blocks of ice to homes in town. Today the Minglewood building houses a somewhat different business. Family owned and operated, the distillery is putting to use the abundance of locally grown, high-quality grain and has resurrected a long Wayne County tradition of producing Rye Whiskey. Our family's talents and passion transformed Minglewood from a dilapidated Ice Plant into a modern craft distillery with 13 different spirits. Visit the Bottle Shop for a guided tasting flight, or enjoy a crafted cocktail on our Patio. You can also take a tour of our distillery, while your guide explains the history of Minglewood and how the distillery operates today.
